The state service web portal slips?

About half a year has passed since triumphal launch of the Russian state service web portal. Overloaded by lots of visitors checking its work, the portal suddenly halted and was much laughed at…

At the launch ceremony, the portal developers presented just its informational component and stated that the portal would “some time later” provide practically all governmental services online. But “some time” seems to have not passed yet. Even promised possibility to submit documents to state bodies online is not implemented really.
About 100 million rubles has been spent for development and launch of the state service web portal. Only fully virtual interaction between citizens and state structures will justify such expenses; hovewer today we see longer and longer queues in the state structures’ offices.
