Monitoring of Official Websites <>. Studying compliance of contents of governmental and local self-government bodies’ official websites with actual legislation and with information users’ needs. Informational openness rating for official websites is formed as study result
Expert Monitoring <>. Formation and maintenance of a system that will enable full automation of the official websites monitoring and informational openness rating calculation. The system will be available for the IIFD experts publishing analytical data, as well as for governmental officials who will be able to track openness indices’ trends for the governmental bodies they represent in order to improve functionality of their official websites timely
Social Monitoring <>. A free online guestbook allowing any Internet user to comment contents of official websites and to ask questions arising when they search information at those websites
Register of the IIFD Court Cases <>. A system allowing a user to obtain all necessary information on any court case the IIFD in a party of including relevant documents (applications, complaints, court decisions, appeals, and so on)
Register of State Officials’ Income Declarations <>. A database containing information on incomes of top Russian federal and regional governmental officials, enabling search and output data comparison
Register of Informational Systems <>. A list of all state informational systems (registers, databases, data banks, cadastres, lists, and so on) owned and maintained by government bodies under normative legal conditions
All E-Power <>. A reference book of government and local self-government bodies of Russian Federation with detailed contact information
Access to Archive Information (legal project) <>. Initiation and conduct of cases aimed to enable access to information stored in archive funds, including declassification
Access to Governmental Informational Systems (legal project) <>. Initiation and conduct of cases aimed to enable access to state informational systems (i.e. contesting unlawful charging for information access or lack of information at official websites)
FOI Clinic <>. Forming a work site for students (not law specialties) interested in issues of information accessibility in Russian Federation, allowing them to share experience for implementation of their professional right to information access. The clinic participants get theoretic knowledge on the problem and possibilities for their practical implementation (information requesting, application to courts, and so on) assisted by experienced lawyers
Informational Seminars on FOI <>. In 2010, the IIFD experts hold a series of informational seminars for different target groups (NGOs, media, judges and lawyers, wide interested public) on issues how to implement provisions of the federal laws providing access to information on activities of government/local self-government bodies and of courts. Theoretical and practical aspects of the problem are addressed
Informational Publications <>. In 2010, we plan to issue a guidebook “Access to Information In Russian Federation” and comments to the Federal Laws “On providing access to information on the activities of government bodies and bodies of local self-government” and “On Providing Access to Information on Activities of Courts in Russian Federation”
International Cooperation <>. Joint research projects together with friendly organizations in ex-USSR countries

The methodology developed by Freedom of information Foundation for monitoring official websites is applicable widely. It is convenient, efficient and can be used for research in various fields. We are interested in cooperation with different governmental and non-government entities in various countries in order to extend the monitoring practice, including possible joint comparative researches.
