Monitoring - 2013: Informational Openness Rating for Federal Executive Government Bodies

In January – February 2013, the Freedom of Information Foundation held its ninth monitoring cycle for federal executive government bodies' official websites. We present the monitoring results.

2012: FIF Research Direction Development

2012 year appears to become an important stage in developing the FIF monitoring of government bodies' official websites. Having included additional monitoring cycles and upgraded the EXMO online monitoring system, we have helped government bodies to increase essentially their online informational openness level.

The methodology developed by Freedom of information Foundation for monitoring official websites is applicable widely. It is convenient, efficient and can be used for research in various fields. We are interested in cooperation with different governmental and non-government entities in various countries in order to extend the monitoring practice, including possible joint comparative researches.
